An exhilarating talent, violinist Hyeryun ‘Bebe’ Kim radiates confidence and coolness – performing at the highest level of musicianship and technical prowess. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music (’16), Bebe’s skills span a vast array of styles and genres, making her the ideal, modern violinist.
A native of Changwon, South Korea, Bebe has found a new home in Los Angeles – having recorded and performed for many renowned artists such as singer-songwriter RAIGN (X-Factor etc.), Victory Boyd (Jay-Z’s Roc Nation artist), Terrence Blanchard (Academy nominee for best original score “Blackkklansman”), and many more.
During her studies, Bebe studied under many celebrated violinists and performers such as Darol Anger (of the Turtle Island String Quartet), Julianne Lee (of the Boston Symphony), Jason Anick (of the renowned gypsy jazz Rhythm Future Quartet), and Claudio Ragazzi (Grammy Winning latin jazz guitarist), to name a few.
In addition to recording and performing for many accomplished artists, Bebe’s passion also lies in film – having served as the concertmaster of the Berklee Scoring Session Program for 4 years, and recording for many films including solo violin for the award winning Buddy VR (Venice Film Festival award for best VR experience), 51 Nevada, and countless other projects.
